IT AND SCIENTIFIC ILUSTRATION

The IT service is supporting the different requirements of the staff.

The main tasks of the service are the following:

Network and server management
Service maintenance
Equipment repair
Creation and management of web page
Software installation and configuration
Support to geophysical lab end-users
Other institutional tasks

The scientific illustration service provides designs and drawings in support of publications made by the scientific personnel. Such materials can be used in congresses, conferences and to illustrate teaching activities.

The main tasks of this service are the following:

Geological mapping
Geological profiles
Petrological phase diagrams
3D designs (crystals, measurement equipments, etc)
