Personal IACT

I am a geologist who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology (2021) from the University of Barcelona and an M.Sc. degree (2022) in Applied Geology for Mineral Resources from the University of Granada. In 2023, I worked as a research assistant under the supervision of Dr. José Alberto Padrón Navarta on the OXIDISE project – ‘Proyecto de Excelencia 2021 (ProyExcel_00757)’ funded by the Junta de Andalucía and the European Union.  Since January 2024, I have been a Ph.D. candidate in the Earth Science Doctoral Program at the University of Granada, working at CSIC with an FPI Fellowship (FPI 2022/PRE2022-101879) from the Spanish Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades.

My Ph.D. research, under the supervision of Drs. Stephan König and Carolina Rosca, focuses on the application of novel stable isotopes of heavy elements as volatile tracers between the Earth’s crust and mantle. To accomplish this, I employ advanced geochemical techniques, incorporating trace and ultra-trace element systematics and heavy stable isotopes (Mo, Zn, Se). The primary objective of my work is to characterize the long- and short-term recycling processes of crust and sediments within the deep mantle.
