An international team with researchers from the Andalusian Institute of Earth Sciences (IACT-CSIC) will set sail on December 11 aboard the ship Joides Resolution to study the seabed for two months and collect sediments from 8 million years ago about the exchange of water between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
