I earned a BSc in Geology and an MSc in Geology Applied to Energy Resources from the University of Granada, as well as a PhD in Earth Sciences at the IACT. My research focused on reconstructing past oceanic and climatic conditions in the Mediterranean. Currently, as a postdoctoral researcher working with Dr. Stephan König and Dr. Carolina Rosca, I integrate sedimentary inorganic geochemistry tools—including major and trace element concentrations, mineralogical composition, and trace metal isotopes (e.g., Mo isotopic composition)—with multivariate statistical approaches to study redox dynamics, diagenetic processes, and the biogeochemical cycling of trace metals in marine sediments.
