Since last July 26, the Andalusian Institute of Earth Sciences has been certified in accordance with the National Security Scheme in the basic category, being the first CSIC center to obtain this certification. Our institute has worked to comply with the measures required by the National Cryptological Center in compliance with Royal Decree 311/2022, becoming a pioneer center in terms of security hence. This certification is a sample of our commitment to improving security in an environment subject to daily threats that inevitably forces us to make responsible use of computer tools.
