February 11

February 11 is a citizen initiative to commemorate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science through activities to:

• Make visible the work of women who are dedicated to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) areas, thus creating female references for childhood that can contribute to the choice of these areas as professional careers.
• Know the different factors that affect the current situation of women in STEM areas to promote practices that lead to their elimination and achieve gender equality in the scientific field.
