I received my Bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Granada in 2020, and went on to earn my Master’s in Applied Geology of Mineral and Energy Resources (GEOREC) from the same university in 2021. After completing a CSIC JAE-Intro scholarship at the Andalusian Institute of Earth Sciences, I was awarded a Junta de Andalucía Early Researcher Fellowship and joined the Petrology, Geochemistry, and Geochronology (PGG) research group in 2022. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Earth Sciences at the University of Granada, where my research focus is on “The geochemical consequences of subduction of a heterogeneous oceanic lithosphere” under the guidance of Dr. Stephan König and Carlos J. Garrido. To gain a deeper understanding of the elemental mobility conditions during devolatilization reactions in subduction zones, I am utilizing stable isotopes of Se, Ti, and Zr.
